Press conference at the Pentagon

From left, Inspector General of the Army Lt. Gen. R. Steven Whitcomb, Secretary of the Army John M. McHugh and Kathryn Condon, special assistant to the undersecretary of the Army, hold a press conference at the Pentagon June 10, 2010, to announce changes in the leadership of Arlington National Cemetery. The changes are being made in response to an internal investigation, conducted by Whitcomb, into allegations of improprieties and mismanagement at the cemetery. During the conference, McHugh announced he had relieved the current superintendent and deputy superintendent of their duties and placed Condon in the position of executive director of the Army National Cemeteries Program. Unmanned aerial vehicle

A U.S. Soldier launches an RQ-11 Raven unmanned aerial vehicle as part of the Unmanned Aerial System Program of Instruction Certification Course being taught at Forward Operating Base Shank in the Logar province of Afghanistan June 8, 2010. Ravens are capable of providing imagery where ground troops have no visibility.
