A boat from the Spanish navy
A rigid-hulled inflatable boat from the Spanish navy Servola-class offshore patrol vessel SPS Centinela (P 72) carries African sailors through the Atlantic Ocean April 21, 2010, during a basic boarding officer course. The sailors, who are from Senegal, Cape Verde, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Togo, are part of Africa Partnership Station (APS) West and embarked aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44). APS is an international initiative developed by U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Africa to improve maritime safety and security on the African continent.
