Yesterday, Congress voted to pass provisions of the Tribal Law and Order Act, a groundbreaking bill that fights sexual violence and rape against Native American and Alaska Native women.Without your support – from the prolonged advocacy over the years to that last wave of phone calls and messages that poured into Congressional offices this past week – we couldn’t have seen such a major success. However, IVAWA has not yet reached the House or the Senate floor and is still in need of your support.
